Can anyone tell me how to determine what version of
Windows XP I am running on a system? I have just
inherited a network and want to find out whether each
system is running the older version of XP (the 32 bit
version) or the newer (64 bit) version.

Many thanks

Noel,

It is not about newer or older versions
It is about the hardware they are running on.

Unless the PC has an Intel Itanium II processor it is NOT running the
64-bit.
(Prices start at $3300 for a PC like this)

Also a quick look at the My Computer... Properties... General tab would
tell if you had the 64-bit Edition and also your processor type.

U will have the 32bit version, 64bit costs loads due to the processor used.
