32 Bit Colour Won't Stay! Help!

I have to keep manually changing the colour display to 32
bit from 8 bit every time I log on, even when I've
previously applied it! Any solutions?

First... Make sure your video drivers for your video card are up to
date. Second, try changing your monitor from "default" to "plug n
play".

But my Video driver is fine & the monitor was already set
to 'plug n play'. I'm really stumped! When the other
users log on, the screen stays at 32 bit, but when I log
on I have to keep manually changing it! Any other
suggestions?
 
I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website
at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to Line 54,
(Save settings on exit)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "savesettings.reg"
then double-click and follow the prompts.
