I ran the disk clean-up the other day and it said it has to remover some
corrupt DLL files and said choose Yes or No I choose No and it keept poping
up asking the same question till I answered Yes.
now when I open a folder on my PC it opens for about 30 and the screen
refreshes and I have to start over. When I try to fix the problem it tells
me to install my XP disk to fix it, when I bought the PC from Best Buy they
didn't give a XP disk they said the sysem has a recovery program, and they
want 200 bucks for a disk to fix it. Is there a place that the pc put the
DLL files so I can find them? sorry if I'm confusing you. HP said it would
take 6 to 8 weeks to send me a disk to fix it. and I have to work on this
thing.

Restore the system to a break point prior to the Disk Cleanup.

BTW: Never buy a computer from any vendor if it does not include a licensed Windows
Installer disk!

I should have said this is happening to my sister.
She tryed to do the Restore and it ask for the disk, If I send my sister my
XP Pro OEM disk will it fix her DLL problem? Or is there another way to fix
things without loosing all her data on her 250gig drive, she has room for
more Drives.
