Cranky
Hi,
I seem to have picked up a trojan which has found its way into my
system32 folder (I know _nothing_ about computers). When I run Adaware
and an AVG scan, they freeze when looking into the system32 folder, and
explorer also freezes when I try to open the folder.
But I have 'Who Lock Me?', which has let me peek inside. I have, in the
system32 folder, 3 files:
csrss.exe C:\WINNT\system32\
csrss.exe C:\WINNT\system32\csamb.exe
csrss.exe C:\WINNT\system32\ega.cpi
Is there a quick way of knowing which is the genuine article, and which
are the virae? I figure the bad'uns are the ones with the extensions.?
Thanks in advance.
Steve
