Here is my dilemma. I have read that you can attach multiple monitors under
Windows XP. I need 3. 2 CRTs and 1 TV out (Video or RCA) This is for a
powerpoint computer. Basically, I want to be able to project on TV a
presentation and see it on a CRT as well. Then be able to do other things
with the 2nd CRT while the presentation is going on.
Most of the video cards I have found only support 2 outputs at a time
though. I did see the Matrox Parhelia but am not looking to spend $350 for
this application. I need a simple solution. It is not a gaming machine so
it does not need all the newest features and such.
Are there other cards that support 3 outputs at the same time in the $100
range? Would I be better off getting a AGP and a PCI card? What kind of
conflicts would I anticipate? Would that work with my application? How
would you be able to "switch" between displays?
Any input is appreciated...
Thanks
