I upgraded from Windows ME where I had 3 functioning hard drives to XP and now only two of the hard drives show up. All of my music is on the third, missing hard drive. What happened and what can I do to get my 3rd hard drive back? I'm comfortable using the computer but don't have any real expertise. Is this something I can do myself or do I have to find an expert?

Providing it's still showing in the BIOS...

Right click on My Computer and select Manage.

On the following screen, click on Disk Management.

It should now show up on the right hand side where you can assign it a drive
letter. No problems known in XP with having three hard drives, I have 3 in
my desktop (and a single DVD burner).

Thanks for the suggestion,Cari but i did what you said and when I went to Disk Management, it only showed two hard drives along with the CD roms and removable drives. Does this mean that my third drive is not in the BIOS? If so, what can I do to retrieve it?
