Sorry, this is newbie stuff...

Working with termserv on a Windows 2000 server in a 2000 AD domain. Presenting services to clients through the web interface then through an SSL VPN. I have 3 issues I'm struggling with and appreciate some direction

1) Regional Settings - The server sits in US-EDT. Users from other timezones connect, and of course, app times are presented in a way they really don't want to see them in... How can I address this; manually or through scripts or Groups

2) Local Printing - Still not sure how this is supposed to work. I want the ability to give folks who connect through the web the ability to print to their local printer. I have read there is an issue with driver matching but I'm not even there yet. I can't see local printers, is this a manual configuration

3) Shut Down - I don't want connecting users to have the ability to Shut Down the server, just logoff. What is the easiest way to do this

TIA
Chris

Timezone redirection is only supported in Windows Server 2003

Only Administrators should be able to shut down the server. This is controlled via the local security policy or via Group Policy. You can also remove the shut down options from the start menu & task manager via GPO

Thanks Patrick

Does the 2003 Termserv need to be in the 20003 AD to support TimeZone redirection? Can i just install a 2003 server in my 2000 AD to get it to work

What features am I not able to leverage being in a 2000 AD if I use 2003 Temserv

Thanks again.
