working on setting up a router for a college dorm. Two of the three machines
are able to get online but the 3rd just won't work. All three run WinXP. The
one not working used to use Dial Up-- i've deleted that 'connection'.. and
set it up for broadband but still nada..
any suggestions??? what am i doing wrong?? (considering that the other 2 are
running correctly (both with Win XP) i don't know what else to do?
thanks!

I've got the exact same problem. One XP (personal) and
one Linux box running DHCP behind an SMC Barricade router
serving as a gateway to my cable modem...both work fine.
Then add an XP (pro) machine to the mix, and it doesn't
connect at all. The XP Pro box will not receive a DCHP
address. Let me know what you find out!

Good luck,

-G
