Are there any drivers that will allow me to use the middle
button of my old Logitech MouseMan serial mouse? The
latest Logitech drivers warn that this mouse won't be
recognized by them under W2000.

According to:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1792,contentid=5269

"Serial Mice users under Windows XP and 2000: MouseWare does not support any
serial pointing devices. A Logitech mouse connected to the serial port will
function with native drivers, but it will not be displayed in the MouseWare
control center and you will not be able to program the buttons."

Maybe you can find some older mouseware drivers, like 8.0 or older, but I
think this was an issue with NT/2K/XP/2K3 all along...
