3.9's Slows booting into XP

Has anyone else experienced a slight slowdown when booting into XP.

The blue welcome screen stays on much longer before finally bringing up the XP
desktop... I noticed that the 3.8's did this too. No other issues with the
drivers however. COD works fine for me.

If I switch back to the 3.7's XP boots at its usual speed.

I've tried all the usual stuff like disabling VPU recover and disabling
everything in the options etc.

Any idea's?

Cheers

Haven't really used a stopwatch, but doesn't seem to be any slower or faster
then previous cats.

Thanks for the replies..

ermmmm... it does seem weird!

The delay is similar to the delay one may get when networking is not setup
correctly. I do infact have 2 m/c's networked together here, both connected to
the net via a Linksys SR41 router which then connects to my cable modem.

I dont think its the network settings as I haven't changed anything in that
department, and AIS it only slows when the 3.8 or 3.9's are installed, the blue
welcome screen stays on for about 45 to 60 secs with those drivers but only
about 10/15 secs with the 3.7's.

very strange... no big deal... but annoying. :-)

Cheers again.

Seems the same for me.
