3.8... where's the new shader settings at?

So smartshader is only a opengl thing? no D3D version?

Wonder why they didn't give us a basic slider set for these, and allow us to
save them. Blue tinted might be nice, or over saturation, or even sepia...

Humm, with my 9800 I have SShaders for both D3d and Ogl but sadly the only
one that even, at least to me, looks good is Sketch and it is only ogl.

Errrrr from what I've read (I haven't tried the Cat 3.8's yet/ever)
smartshader is pointless/a gimick ... but I'll defend your right to use it
;o)

I'm not thinking about what they currently have it setup for, but towards
it's possibilities! It would be nice to make my colors "hotter" on some
games, and in the case of enter the matrix, I never could really get the
brightness set properly. With a simple set of sliders, and a save feature,
we'd REALLY have a nifty new tool!

well there is on mine. tick use custom settings. click on custom and then
select the smartshader tab. easy really, infact identical to OpenGL

Yes, it's a gimmick, but playing Rally Trophy using the black & white or
classic shaders was kind of fun.

Hmm... wonder if it's card specific?

Anyone else NOT see he shader tab where described above?

well I have a 9600 Pro, so I guess it would be on the 9700 and 9800 series
card at least and probably the 9500 series as well.

I guess that is one thing Nvidia has over ATI, it's Digital Vibrance
control. It does exactly what you want. People think I have some kind of
super monitor.
