Which are better?

I particularly want to minimize issues with Halo, as there are enough
already.

Also, am i going to run into problems if i delete ati2evxx.exe? i don't want
it running if it doesn't really need to

For me personally, in W2k the 3.10 work better (in Lock On and N2003).
I've also set the ati2evxx.exe service to 'Manual', it didn't seem to do
any harm. But I wouldn't just delete the file. In XP or W2k, I'd disable
the service and set is to manual. In WinME, I'd remove the call from the
Run key.

Halo is a game copied from consolo! Modded to work on pc's, .. but as
we already saw with GTA3: Liberty City ... that generally doesn't
makes perfect games.

4.1 are nice... omegacorner drivers are even slightly better!

The consensus seems to be if you want the most stable as opposed to the
newest, 3.7 is the best.

This version works well with every game I have, and it certainly works well
with Halo... or it did until I installed the game half way through (it gets
pretty boring ;)

There is a loss of textures issue with Halo and ATI cards, if you see this,
select high quality from theRadeon display properties.

If in XP see if you have one or two of these running. I think if you disable
the one that controls "ATI Hotkey Poller" under services, it will disable
the overdrive tab.

I think that the 4.2's work best. I saw a 2500 point increase in 3d Mark
03 and a 6000 point increase in 3d Mark 01. Everything seems to run smoother
in all my games. I especially like the fact that the 4.2's enable 12x
anti-aliasing and 22x anisotropic filtering.

4.2??

Neither, IMHO the 3.7's are still the fastest...

For me, 4.1 (Omegas) are faster. I reckon that it varies from model of
board to model. It's worth trying out both drivers to see which one
works best.

That varies greatly from card to card. Each new release is better and
better for me.
