im starting to mess around with some things and a lot of them refer to .NET
3.0 but i was wondering if i could just work off 3.5 instead. i would
imagine that whatever is in 3 should be in 3.5 and i shouldnt have any
problems with developing stuff that asks for 3.0 in 3.5 but i thought i
would check, just dont want to be bothered to install 3.0 when 3.5 is right
around the corner.

Thanks
Justin

You can do that. You will have to focus on the Visual Studio 2008 betas to
stick with 3.5, however. This is not a bad direction to go, but be wary of
putting betaware on your production machine(s).

didnt know about the 2008 deal, but thats not a problem i currently have it
install as well as 2005... so far pretty happy with 2008.

as for the stuff im programming im actually a system admin so i pretty much
only make stuff to make my life easier, easy enough to change if need be.

Thanks for the info!

Justin
