Hi,

A very quirky client is complaining that using Find in Contacts takes too
long. He says it can take up to a minute to Find a contact. He doesn't have
THAT many--a little over 2500 contacts.

He's using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003 on a Dell 4600, 512mb RAM. OS is
XP/SP1.

Is there a way to speed things up for him? Anything we can do to the
database to make things faster?

Where do these Contacts reside?
Have you tried resetting the search order to search that folder first?

Thanks for the response, Russ.

I'm not sure where the Contacts reside. The client has a Contacts folder in
his mailbox and there is a Public Folder Contacts folder.

Where would be the setting to determine the search order?
