2nd installation of XP

My PC crashed - so I have to buy a new PC. I had XP on
it, installed from my own XP installation disk.
Can I use this disk again on my new (different) PC to
install XP again.

As long as it's a retail copy and not an OEM copy, yes.

Yes, as Rifleman says, so long as you are using a Retail copy of WinXP, not
one that came pre-installed on that computer. You can have WinXP installed
on just one computer at a time, but only the OEM versions are locked to the
original computer.
