Folks,
I just installed a 2nd HD as slave on my PC. Damn thing wouldn't
format via the Admin/Comp.Management/Storage bit in the Control Panel, but
as it was a Maxtor drive I installed and ran Maxblast and it formatted
beautifully (I think). Anyway here is my problem.... My primary disk (the
one I boot W2K from) was formatted long time ago as a FAT32 drive (maybe I
should have selected NTFS, I don't know). But this new 2nd drive formatted
as an NTFS drive (no choice...Maxblast did it).

Does anyone know of any probs using this combination (FAT32 and NTFS) of
formatted drives on the same PC?

This shouldn't cause you too many problems. you can always
covert the c:drive to NTFS using the follwing command from
a dos prompt

convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs
