I have a 2K server wiAD installed and 10 workstations. On my workstations,
I am printing out of WordPerfect 8. When I click print with my mouse, my
print dialogue box takes about one to one and a half minutes to come up,
then, after clicking print, it takes another minute or two for the print job
to start coming out of the printer.

Now, and here's the weird part,

If I unplug the network cable from the back of the local PC, the print job
comes out immediately. If I pulg the calbe into the PC, the print job hangs
and is slow (3-5 mins). Unplug, fast and immediate. Plug in and it's slow
and takes 5 minutes.

Any ideas?

I've shut down the server and get the same slow response.

I'm looking for possibilities I've not considered or for ideas on wher to go
from here.

Thnaks.
