2048 x 1280

I've seen some 24" 1920x1200 flat panel displays but they're quite pricey.

But theoretically, you could take two inexpensive 1280x1024s, turn them 90",
and display a single 2048x1280 desktop on the two displays.

Anybody here ever tried such a thing? If so, how did it go?

It'll be shite. Big thick gap down the middle.

A big, thick, ugly gap right in the middle of display?
