200HZ Mouse Sample rate??? THAT POSSIBLE with Windows 2000?

There's only an option for 100HZ in 2000 in the mouse settings area but
there has to be a registry hack/tweak somewhere that fixes this?

What is wrong with 100Hz sample rate on a mouse? That is 100 times a second.
