I just started using Powerpoint 2007. How do I insure that I can use this on
a computer that does not have 2007 installed? Thanks, David

In 2007, use Office Button | Save As and choose "97-2003 presentation."

If you've used new features, like glows and reflections, the objects you've
added those to will not be editable in earlier versions of PPT. But the
files will open, and regular text and stuff should still be editable.

Hi,

In addition to what Echo said, there is a Compatibility Checker. Go to the
Office button| Prepare| Run Compatibility Checker. There is also a check box
to ensure it runs every time you save to the 97-2003 format. It will give
you a list of what will be lost when you save backwards.
