Is it possible to mark up insertions as both bold and doubleunderline?

Is it possible to turn off Track Changes warning for print, save etc.?

Yes. Buried deeply in options in Word 2007:
Office Button | Word Options |Trust Center | Trust Center Settings |
Privacy Options.

Then look for heading "Document-specfic Settings".

*Uncheck* box "Warn before printing ... tracked changes or comments".

However, this might not be a good idea: if you ever send these files
to others, it is easy to forget to 'accept all changes' before sending
-- and then the recipient knows how you've marked up the prior version.

Regarding your question about marking insertions as both bold and
doubleunderline, Yes.
In options, click on the Track Changes tab.
Next to "Insertions" choose doubleunderline
Next to "Formatting" choose bold.

Thanks much!

Hi,

I tried this but it didn't work. It just bolds any text that has formatting
changes but not the inserted text. Am I doing something wrong?

The OP asked how to make this change in Word 2007. Is that the
version you have?

I have Word 2007 and the "Formatting" area of the Track Changes
Options dialog box relates to marking changes of *formatting*. It does
not deal with "insertions" or "deletions": for insertions and deletions
of text the manner of drawing attention to the change is limited to one,
and only one, method.

Perhaps someone knows how to "get under the hood", but without that I
don't see how one can, for example, BOTH bold and underline an addition
to the text.

EKH: This is not quite a comment on the original question, but I'm getting
desperate. When I save and close the document I'm editing in the Review
function, the changes are lost when I open the document again--except those I
made in the find/replace mode. I tried to email my client portions of the
edited file and non of the changes transferred. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.
