2007 PPS file not recognized when emailed

I have created a very cool ppt in 2007, complete with embedded (not linked -
I checked) sound files. I saved it as a PPS, and it runs fine on my Office
2007 and my 2003 computers. When I email it out - the recipient 's computers
won't even recognize the file.

This is BAD since the show was supposed to be part of an interactive
marketing campagn!

Help please

Hi Lauren

Couple of ideas:
Are you sure you saved as a pps and not a ppsx? Ppsx would require the
compatability pack, PowerPoint 2007 or the PowerPoint 2007 viewer installed
to be viewed. I think :-)
And even a pps would require recipient to have PowerPoint or the viewer
(2003 or 2007) installed.

If you want to send it to me to test feel free - lucy at aneasiertomorrow

FYI Lauren sent me the file and it was a ppsx. As there was nothing in it
2003 couldn't handle I advised saving as a pps and including a link to the
2003 viewer in the e-mail it would be sent with.

And having looked at the programme, I need to figure out a way to be in 3
places at once...

There's every chance you'll both be nominated for encores, so you'll get a
chance to miss one another's show twice.

Does that make it feel better?

It may not help Glen but it certainly makes me feel better :-)

Indeed ... you'll want to see both. That's a promise.

Of course, you'll have to talk to *me* about time off from the Help Center.

LOL!

Not if the same people turn up the second time around because they couldn't
understand the Aussie accent first time around!

What if a different crowd shows up the second time, having been told by their
friends "You've GOT to go see this guy. He talks real funny-like."

Slave driver! You'll have to come and drag me out of Saks first...

Is there one nearby? It's been a long time since I was last in NOLA, outside
of the Quarter, that is.

I'm an inveterate non-shopper; you're safe once inside <g>

Hi,

Drag you our of the sack? You've gotta work, not sleep!

No problem. I heard she wanted to be in your session while she's doing
hers.

You do hers, she does yours, everybody's happy.
