2007 Permissions - conflict with permissions given in 2003

I now have 2007 but assigned some calendar permissions in 2003 by two methods
a) tools, delegates
b) rm, permissions

I have now found in 2007 that I can only see those users who I gave
permissions to via the delegates tab not by b) - the users still have access
but I cannot revoke or change their permissions. Anyone else come across this
and now to resolve it?
