When I click "Page Layout" in Excel, the program terminates. A message from
my Commodo Firewall appears that reads...
"To help protect your PC, Commodo Defense+ temporarily blocked this
application. It has tried to execute shellcode as a result of possible buffer
overflow attack.
Application: EXCEL.EXE
This is typical of of a buffer overflow attack.Commodo Defense+ has already
isolated EXCEL.EXE from the rest of the system and will keep it isolated
unless you skip this alert. However, it is strongly recommended to close this
application and contact its vendor for a fix."
If I skip the alert EXCEL keeps running but Page Layout doesn't work.
Dell Inspiron 537s, 64-bit
4 Gig memory
Vista Home Premium (x64) SP1 installed
2007 Office Suites SP2 installed.
I have installed Quicken 2010 since I last used EXCEL. No problems before
that.
Any suggestions?
