2003 server dcpromo

I am trying to add a 2003 server as a DC into a windows 2000 domain. I have
run adprep on the 2000 server successfully. Yet when I run DCPROMO on the
2003 server it fails and says the 2000 dojmain has not been prepared, please
run adprep.

Any ideas?

if it is a R2 server use ADPREP from the second CD.

you need to run ADPREP /forestprep on the schema master
you need to run ADPREP /domainprep on the infrastructure master
