My son gave me his Outlook 2003, full version. I have an Outlook 2000
installed, upgrade version. Can I install over 2000, or do I need to
uninstall 2000 first?
Have backup pst file available for 2000. Can I restore all my email,
appointments, contacts in 2003 with that pst file?

Simply install Outlook 2003. The existing version will be replaced by
OL2003 during setup.

While what Christian says is true, I'd remove the prior version first. It
seems cleaner and less prone to problems that way.

Does MS make a cleaner tool for post Outlook 2K uninstalls. Seems there's
always something left behind.

Can I restore with the Outlook 2K backup pst file after installing Outlook
2003?
