How do I set up a folder with all of the settings that I
want and have that used as my default folder for all new
folders?

Thanks in advance

For OL 2002, you use Tools>E-mail Accounts, select "View or change existing
e-mail accounts", click Next, and change the "Delivery e-mail to the
following location" drop-down. I think it's similar in OL 2003.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

The setting I am most concerned about is getting rid of
the automatic grouping that Outlook does in the Views. I
find it very annoying and would like a way to change all
of my folders to no automatic grouping. Barring that I
would like all new folders set up without it.

Thanks,

Thanks, but that is not what I am looking to do. I want
to have a template for a folder with certain settings and
use that for any new folders.

I don't know of any way to do that.

Sue,

You are my hero or is that heroine?
That is just what I need!
It is unchecking the "Show items in groups" that does the
trick.

Thanks again,
Karen
