I read the posting, what's the cure? I have had to delete them and start
over, if they have gotten stuck in the outbox. It sends out other emails,
now I hold my breath when I send one.

Hi Linda,

Do you get any error message? Has this started recently? Are you running an
email scan program like Norton Antivirus etc?

Hi Yes I am running Norton 2007. Webroot spysweeper. It seems to be
recent,it may have happend on occasion over the last few months.2 weeks ago I
spent all weekend with centurytel, norton and microsoft , I thought it was
corrected untill a few days ago it started up again locking in those emails.
I was afraid it was because I had updated again from Microsft I will try as
they said to leave one dead one in there. It sends out most all the other
emails except if they go into the outbox.

Linda,

Did they suggest repairing your Outlook folder file? the .PST file that
holds all your email folders?

If not, try this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497

Actually the article is a bit "over the top" for a quick check. Just run the
scanpst.exe program and have it check & repair your pst file. It may find no
problems, minor inconsistencies or errors. Sert "Repair" and maybe you will
be in luck!

Cheers,
