Hi,

I currently have a 2003 domain which was set up on the incorrect ip
address range.

I now want to move every thing from the current ip address range to a
new one.

What would I have to think about for the move.

I have in total 5 2003 servers and around 600 work stations and 1200
users with different OUs for each user group.. I know what I need to
do with the workstations.

My main concern is how to keep everything working without messing up
AD and of course the dns servers. This will be done when the users
are away on Summer break.

Any suggestons would be great .

Thanks

Hi

Are you using Wins?
Are you using DHCP?
Do you have reservations on DHCP?
Are you using Static IPAddress on routers, FW, Printers, Computers, other
devices?
Are you using Apps that point to Apps Servers by IPAddress and not by name?
How many Dcs in the Domain?
How many domains?
How many Sites?
Are you modifying just the subnet or to a new ip class (different IP)

These are just some of the considerations (information) that you must have
before you even think about change the IPAddress.
