Installed Office 2003 and when i clicked on outlook all my special folders
were gone. Looks like 2003 has something called "favorites" but that means i
have to set up everything all over again. can anyone help me? is there i
file i can pick up? I saved everything on my harddrive from the Unknown User
file - so maybe its there somewhere?
Thanks

Thanks Hal,
After spending a lot of time at the site you pointed me to, i figured out
that i could set up something called "shsortcuts". This seems to be able to
accomplish what i was doing in 2002 when i set up my personalized view - i
could set up master folders and subfolders and didn't need to view all my
folders. When i upgraded to 2002 last year - all of these folders were still
there.

When I reformatted my harddrive and installed 2002 again - they were all
there when i pointed outlook to the saved ".FAV" file. Then i installed 2003
and they all disappeared. It will take me some time to redo all this work in
the new 2003 system of "shortcuts". Do you know if there is a "file" of some
type that i can use that will let me "migrate" these settings into 2003?
Thanks
Susan
