I've got two Delloweredge 1650's running Windows 2000
Server SP4. Each have to identical Dell 36 GB HDD's and
are mirrored using Windows Software RAID. The drives are
slit into C,D,E, but that shouldn't matter. Seems like
on almost every reboot, and sometimes during the day,
I'll notice tons of disk activity and find out one or all
of the partitions are resynching.
I know Windows will do this if needed, but it's been
happening a lot.
Anyone ever see this? Do I have a drive going bad that
Windows sees the data as stale and needed a resynch?
Any ideas would be great as the higher ups want an answer
besides a shoulder shrug!
Thanks,
Todd
