I recently installed service pack 4 on my windows 2000
server and now the computer hangs on startup. I am able
to load safe mode, but still can't get into normal
startup. Are there any known issues on service pack 4
with 2000 server?

Please help if you can, I would really appreciate it.

Any Event Viewer errors?

I ran into the same thing when I installed service pack 3. It is my
understanding that Microsoft also includes driver updates in service packs
which may not be "100% compatable" and so could be the source of the
hanging.

Since you can get into safe mode, you could begin with the video card and
set it to a standard VGA - good place to start since your users won't
know/care/be affected if you have a standard VGA setup or not.

Let me know if this works.
