Roxio sux. Their interface is the best in the industry but
they alter the registry and the OS in such a way that they
can blue-screen your computer. Bad Roxio! Bad!
They also leave trash behind after uninstalling.
Start regedit and go to here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{
4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Look for UpperFilters and LowerFilters.
You can usually delete them.
Roxio puts cdr4_2k in UpperFilters.
It puts Cdralw2k and Pwd_2k in the LowerFilters. Get rid
of these.
In fact, I wrote a REG file that cleans up Roxio from the
registry pretty well. You could cut and paste the stuff
between asterisks below into a Notepad text document and
name the file "CleanRoxio.reg". Double-click the file.
It'll delete the Roxio keys.
