Hello,

How would an administrator like myself log off a person who is sitting at
their desk? I can obviously close the session via Computer management but
do not know how to shut them down... so to speak?

Any ideas? (Off to Microsoft Tech help now...)

Hi KnitAnswer,

You can use a Remote Shutdown tool, Shutdown.exe, that is
available from the Windows 2000 Resource Kit; To shutdown
a local or remote Windows 2000-based machines.

Please refer to the following KB article for details:

* HOW TO: Use the Remote Shutdown Tool to Shut Down and
Restart a Computer in Windows 2000
