OK I accidently loaded another XP program when I was trying to repair a
corrupted file on the original install.

Instead of the new one loading to the main C Drive it went to my H drive
which is the HP recovery drive and it's overloaded it.

I need to delete the C Drive's bad version and move the H Drive's to the C
Drive.

I've Googled how to edit boot.ini but that will just make the system boot
from the H drive and that won't fix my issue.

HELP!!! Thank you so much for your time!

You need to REPAIR the proper version and EDIT the BOOT.INI to remove the
version you don't want (H drive - recovery I suppose...)

You'll need actual installation media (Windows XP.)
You'll need to be very careful which Windows XP installation you repair.

I have the XP Home discs and I do know exactly which installation is the one
to be fixed. I will print out the info and carefully review it before I do
anything.

If after I read it I don't feel right about it I am just going to get a tech
person in here to do it for me. :o)
