2 Sound Cards Switch or Simultaneously playback?

Hello,

Hope you are doing well. I just purchased a Philips PSC805 External
Soundcard and would like to know if it is possible to switch the Sound
Playback between that and the internal NVidia soundchip that I already
have "on the fly"? Also I wouldn't mind if they could both work at the
same time. Thanks in advance.

I do not see how they normally could work at the same time with the same
file ("simultaneously") since both have to open the same sound file? You
might try running copies of the same files, though, but I doubt you'll get
them to work in flawlessly.
