2 sets of personal folders after re-install

After my son trashed my PC, I had to reformat and re-install Windows XP and
all the software.
I reloaded Office 2003 and opened the previously backed up .pst file. In
the Email part I now have 2 sets of personal folders. On top is the "new"
set the Archive folders and then Personal again. The last of which is my
old one and the one I want to use. Also, the newly received email goes to
the inbox of the "new" personal folders which is also duplicated in
favorites.
How do I get rid of the first set of personal folders and its inboxes?
Thanks,
Craig

Sounds like you added a new PST. Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next. In the
"Deliver new e-mail to the following location" drop-down at the lower left,
select the other Personal Folders and click Finish. Stop and restart
Outlook. That will make your old Personal Folders the default folders. You
can then open the new "Inbox", select all the items with CTRL-A, and move
them to the default Inbox. FiInally, right-click the non-default Personal
Folders root and choose Close.
