2 SATA and 4 IDE on one mainboard?

Modern mainboards have SATA controllers and old IDE controllers.
Can you connect a total of 6 drives to the mainboard,
and have them all work?

You can, but your PSU might complain about spinning up 6 drives,
if you're using the standard one.

Yes, as long as the OS supports that. Should be nor
poblem with modern ones.
