(1) I installed an HP printer (USB) - it's a few years old and was from my
XP computer. It works fine, but I don't see the start / printers option
that always existed on XP and prior versions of Windows.

(2) Where is start / find or its equivalent?

Thanks-

1) Like in XP, you can find Printers in the Control Panel.
If you want, you can display Printers directly on the Start Menu.
Right click on the start button, choose Properties.  On Start Menu,
choose Customize.  Scroll down, select checkbox for Printers.
2) Start button, Search.  :-)
But you can use Vista's powerful search straight from the textbox
above the Start button.  You don't even need to use the mouse.  Press
the Windows key, and type your search.  It finds text in files (even
non-text files), emails, favourites and more.  And it's fast because
it's pre-indexed.  Also, any Explorer window has a search box.
Be aware that if you want to search outside of Documents and other
common areas, you have to open the search window and do a custom
search.

Thx
