2 problems

My Acer Aspire T180 is brand new and since I got it, it randomly has the
screen go in all different color lines going across it in a almost checkered
formation. It's done this with 2 monitors I've tried so it's not that, I
think it's the video card but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this
problem or if there's any updates or fixes that can fix it because it's
getting annoying to have to restart every time it happens.

Also, I may just be dumb by asking this, but when I leave my computer for
long periods of time, like overnight, it will have went to sleep and when I
hit the button it comes back on but my MSN has been signed out, and I like to
keep my MSN running all the time. I changed the settings so that my computer
doesn't go to sleep and yet it's still doing this.. any suggestions?

For the first - you verify ytou have the latest hardware drivers and if you
do - you utilize whatever warranty you have on this brand new machines.

For the second - check in the BIOS for the power settings there and recheck
the power settings in Windows as well.
