2 Occurances of XP Home I only want 1

Somehow my son got ahold of my computer and now I Have
two occurances of Win XP Home. Well,the 1st one works
just fine, but the 2nd one is corrupt and will not boot
to windows it and it's contents are occupying 6GB of
space.
How do I rid myself of the corrupt Windows application?
