I'm currently running Windows 2003 that's running Exchange and Web
Services. PPTP VPN works great.

The IP for the primary NIC is 10.9.0.11

If I want to recreate RRAS and setup the second NIC for PPTP access,
should I just assing the NIC the IP of 10.9.0.12. I remember someone
posting that 2 nics with the same subnet is bad.

Please advise. I look forward to any and all comments and suggestions

I am not sure what you are suggesting here. If PPTP is working, why would
you want to "setup the second NIC for PPTP access" ?

RRAS is an IP router, so if it has two NICs, they need to be in
different IP subnets. Two NICs in the same subnet does indeed cause lots of
problems, including failure of PPTP connections.

How is your server connected to the Internet?
