Hi there,
I wonder if someone could get back to me quickly on this one.
We have an existing LAN that uses an ISDN router for internet access, but
have recently added an extra NIC to one of the machines that has an ADSL
router connected to the end of it for fast net access for that one PC.
What's happening is that Windows is choosing the ISDN route to access the
internet and not the ADSL route!!
IE is configured to automatically detect settings, which probably doesn't
help.
The ISDN net access is done so through a specified IP set in the default
gateway setting of the first NIC. But the ASDL access is done automatically
I think..?!?
When we disable the first NIC - IE automatically uses the faster ADSL
connection, but we would prefer this to happen as default and not touch the
ISDN NIC for net access.... Any ideas?
