Hi group!

I have this problem...

I have 2 network cards, one receive internet, and the other goes to the
network, the thing is that I'm using ccproxy, and it works fine.. the thing
is.. that I have to unplug the cable(of the card that goes to the network),
then connect it again to make the proxy work..

when I just start the pc, not even the pc that is working like server have
internet.. even if I use it with no proxy parameters.. 'til I disconnect the
cable... what I think is that the computer doesn't reconize wich one have
internet..

in the proxy.. I configure the external card.. and works fine.. is it any
special configuration for the pc to tell it wich is my connection to
internet?... well thanks..

a.. by the way.. I'm using winxp('cos is a small company)..

thanks..

is it possible you configure both NICs having the default gateway? post the results of ipconfig /all will help.

yes I have a default gateway in the card that receives the internet.. with
the internet provider specifications... I can't change those parameters.. or
the internet won't work..

should I put those parameters on the card with the 192.168.0.1 that send the
signal out for the other computers

No. The default gateway on that (the LAN) NIC should be blank. That
Interface is only communicating with hosts on it's local subnet an has no
need of a default gateway. It'll just confuse things.
