2 Freeware programs will not install

On Windows 2000 Pro SP-4, i tried to download & open these 2 free
utilities.
When i clicked-on the EXE file, i got a prompt that said something like
this:

this program will not run on this machine type.

what i'm i doing something wrong?
as far as i can tell... these 2 programs are made for Window 2000 pro.

Should it be run from MsDos?
Should it be put on a floppy?

When i try downloading it it automatically goes to Winzip where it
extracts the EXE file & i click-on .exe & nothing happens, except the
prompt saying wrong machine type. Any ideas?

You must have downloaded the alpha versions? These are for Compaq Alpha
processors...
