2 different icon resolutions on taskbar?

I was playing with the Properties/Appearance/Advanced settings just trying
out some different Font/Window/Color options and settled on a scheme I liked.

However, I just noticed that my "Quick Launch" icons are rendered in a
higher resolution than my lower right "Taskbar" running processes.

Here's a screen capture...

I realize this might be a bit arcane, but I thought it was an interesting
occurence (if nothing else) and would like to resolve it.

Click on Appearance Tab Under appearance Tab click on Effects Button;

[ ] Use Large Icons

Click on Settings then click on Advanced Button under General Tab make sure
this option is set correct:
DPI settings:
[ Normal size (96 DPI) ][v]

Click [OK] does this help:
