i have just rebooted my computer then i saw that there are 2 local drives in
my computer. One is named Local Drive (C:) and the other is called Local
Drive (E:) Local drive C: has over 10 GB of space free and E: has only 88 MB
and i cant seem to be able to reinstall all the other programs i had before
because it says that E: has too low disk space. Before i rebooted my computer
i used local drive C: so how come i am now not able to install anything on C:
and now i always use drive E:? Can someone please help me to resolve this
problem?

So what exactly did you do?
Reinstall win?

My best guess is the smaller partition is a recovery partition from
your laptops manufacturer, not an actual 2nd physical drive. If you
have recovery CDs (mainly the drivers) and not a whole lot of data that
is crucial and not backed up, you may be better of to scrub reformat
and reload, paying attention to what sized partition you are installing
to, dump both partitions and do a fresh load allocating the max size
available for the partition. Be sure you obtain the latest drivers for
your machine before starting.

Then it would appear whatever method you used to reinstall win was incorrect
and resulted in you creating a new partition.
Usually Laptops come with either a recovery cd or a hidden recovery
partition, you would have to read the manual supplied with your laptop, or
refer to the FAQ's on their web site, as to usage.
If you actually are using a retail copy of win, then see hear as how to
clean install

Be aware all data will be lost, and you will have to install mobo chipset
and other drivers from your Laptop manu site. NOT winupdate.
