2 DC in one domain.

Easy, you simply install 1 DC. Run DCPROMO, It will ask
you if it's the first DC in the domain, say yes. Create
another DC, tell it that it's a child of a parent domain.
They will both be able to server as DC's for ur domain.

Well, asking for *any* sort of resilience might be pushing it - even for
Windows Server ...

But if I'm understanding your question properly, I'm assuming you are asking
how to create 2 DCs in a single domain ... It's pretty straightforward.
Use DCPROMO to install your first server in the domain. Once that is
correctly installed, use DCPROMO on the second server to add it to the
domain you just created.

Of course, observe carefully the need for underlying services that support
domain controllers, such as, DNS, WINS, and DHCP ...

Sam,

All you have to do is promote your 1st DC normally. Then just promote a
2nd DC into the same domain as an additional domain controller in an
existing domain.
Make sure that you have an internal DNS server that hosts the forward
lookup zone for your domain.

Ouch ..... :(

PS - Hi Dave :)

DJ,

I think that you meant to say to select 'an additional DC in an existing
Domain'? You would then have to provide the proper user account and
password ( usually Administrator, but any Enterprise Admin account would
do ).
