I have a power user who wishes to increase the size of his 2-D graphics but
is limited to using 32000 records. He needs to be able to use 64,000 records.
Any suggestions? I think this might be something that is changed in regedit
but I am not sure. Thanks!

Yep, and you can bypass the 256 column limit with Windows API calls.

Joking aside, how about two series, formatted identically. If you have duplicate
entries in the legend, select the legend, then select the text of one entry, and
press the Delete key.

Thanks Jon. I'll pass this information on to the user. I don't work with
charts but I'll let you know if this is what he is looking for. Thanks!!!!

He says that:
That is sort of what I am doing now. I have run up against the wall because
I have so many numbers and rows of data.

Any other ideas anyone??? Thanks!

Is it meaningful to show 64000 records? A chart that's 200 x 320 has that many
pixels. Could the data be decimated or averaged or somehow beaten into submission?

I know data's important, but showing too much all at once prevents it from the
transition from data to information to knowledge.

I talked briefly with him and he was trying to cut down on the number of work
sheets that he uses to develop the charts and graphs. From what I understand
he has given up on consolidating this information and will continue to use
numerous workbooks and worksheets as he is now doing.

Thanks for trying to assist!
