Two DSL Modems? One Phone Line?
No - you get one service per phone line and that one serbvice will be
controlled by one of the two modems - to my understanding.
If you had two phone lines and DSL service on each line - then you could
have two different DSL service accounts/Internet Connection that way -
although - I don't know why you would do that.
You can use Internet Connection Sharing if you don't want to get a $40
router - however - I think you would be better off getting the router. And
$40 - that's just where I think the good ones start - they do have them less
expensive than that
